Shakib Cham, Zari Hassan’s husband, secured a victory in a boxing match against Ugandan media personality JK Kazoora on Saturday night. Cham was declared the winner after Kazoora surrendered during the fight.
Prior to the match, Shakib encouraged fans to purchase tickets, emphasizing the excitement of boxing: “Boxing is a brutal game, but that’s what makes it so thrilling! Let’s gamble on the outcome and make it even more exciting,” he wrote. However, some fans speculate that the match’s outcome may have been prearranged.

The event attracted a crowd of fans and celebrities, including Zari Hassan, who attended to cheer on her husband. This match follows Tanzanian singer Harmonize’s earlier messages from Shakib, in which he proposed a boxing match as a means to raise money.
Harmonize shared a screenshot of a conversation with Shakib, in which Shakib expressed his desire for a boxing match in Tanzania, suggesting that the proceeds be donated to charity: “I would love to have a boxing match with you as well in Tanzania; we would make money out of it and do charity as well. Hope to hear from you soon on this.” Harmonize responded to the message with a warning for Zari, saying, “Zari, are you aware of this? Your man is trying to play with death.”
