Outrage as UK paper calls Kenyans “idiots” for revealing face of British special soldier present during DusitD2

Kenyans are again on attack mode after a newspaper in the UK labeled them idiots following the exposure of a British Special Air Service (SAS) who was part of the rescue team during the Dusit D2 Attack in Westlands.

Britain’s The Sun newspaper published an article implying that Kenyans were idiots for showing the face of the special forces officer who was off-duty but decided to jump into action.

They went on to add that the officer had to be flown out of the country immediately after his face was seen on social media.

“The Brit hero who saved dozens during a terror attack in Kenya had to be rushed out of the country after idiots revealed his face on social media,” read part of the report by The Sun.

Viral photos

Photos of SAS member in action at DusitD2 hotel went viral across the globe. The special forces soldier jumped into action wearing combat gear over a casual jeans and purple shirt.

The SAS soldier worked with Kenyan special forces to neutralize the terrorists.

International media report that the British SAS soldier was in Nairobi to train and mentor Kenyan Special Forces when a request for help went out to local forces, and he decided to join them in action.

The soldier whose name remains secret is set for a prestigious award in Britain following his acts of selflessness in rescuing terror victims in Kenya.
