ONE ON ONE: “Karibu nipatwe na muhadhara!” Jimmy Gait reveals the temptations he came across after one of his performances

It is almost that time of the year when concerts line up and you get to see your favourite artists perform live on stage.

The audience goes wild as various artists pull up their best performances. Well some people will argue that they attend these concerts to get a partner, others to get offers on drinks but all in all, we must admit that we always have a swell time.

We have however witnessed some artists go through difficulties as some fans end up throwing themselves on them. Some of the celebrities’ shoes, watches, clothes are stolen and you can’t help but notice the turmoil that they go through.

Jimmy Gait however has his own story to tell. During an interview conducted by Caroline Mukami, the appointment hit maker opened up about some of the things he went through after one of his performances.

He recalled being offered a treat of one of a kind. After his performance, he was taken somewhere where he found a woman, naked as the day she was born.

This left him in utter dismay especially since he is a gospel singer. This is not one of the surprises he would expect. He explained that he left hurriedly without turning back.

The singer said that he always avoids places where he is most likely to be tempted. So ladies, be rest assured that you will not find Jimmy Gait in any of your favourite joints.

In all honesty, I was left bewildered after hearing this story but c’est la vie. As Ernest Hemingway’s famous quote goes, “in order to write about life first you must live it.”
