Old school actress Nice Githinji reveals she’s in a polyamorous relationship

Celebrated Kenyan actress Nice Githinji says she supports open relationships.

Such unions are referred to as Polyamory.

Polyamory the practice of engaging in multiple romantic (and typically sexual) relationships, with the consent of all the people involved.

Polyamorous relationships require open communication and transparency among all involved parties (3)to succeed.

This she shared during an interview with Mungai Eve, she shared

“The decision came from a string of relationships I had been.

They were useless to say the least, I kept on being shown repeatedly by the Universe of the type of partners I should not have.

I was never been with anybody for less than three years, so it was one union into another

I decided to be with myself , to know and understand myself so that i’d get enough love to offer.

I was loving the way I was not being loved.”

Githinji says people should stop claiming others in relationships.

“As humans  we are so keen on ownership.

We do not belong to anyone even in relationship, you shouldn’t belong to each other, and that is what makes me averse to commitment.

When people lie is when they end up killing each other. When you lie it hurts people.

We should learn to tailor make our relationships to our requirements. I still practice open relationship but  the person is currently trying to pursued me to stop.“
