Obinna’s Confrontation with Woman Alleging He Fathered and Abandoned a Child

Kenyan media personality and comedian Oga Obinna recently addressed a shocking accusation that left him bewildered.

The father of four, who often shares details of his personal life with his fans, spoke about some of the strange rumors he has encountered, including a claim that he is a deadbeat dad.

Obinna recounted an incident where a woman he did not recognize approached him, accusing him of abandoning a child she claimed was his.

“Last week, while heading to Kamba Fest, as we arrived at the parking lot, a woman passing by suddenly called out, ‘Obinna, how are you? Get out of the car so I can size you up.’ I was confused and asked, ‘What do you mean by sizing me up?'” Obinna explained.

The woman continued, “Get out of the car. Or are you scared because you impregnated my friend and are not taking care of your child?” Surprised by the accusation, Obinna asked who her friend was, but he didn’t recognize the name she mentioned.

Obinna shared that he was completely taken aback and had no idea what the woman was talking about. He chose not to engage further, driving away after the encounter.

“I told my brother about the incident, joking that if it were true, I’d have an extra boy, which would be great. But it’s not possible because my firstborn is 14, and that was from my first ever sexual experience.”

Reflecting on the situation, Obinna suggested the woman might have been misinformed, intoxicated, or mistaken. He noted that people often confuse him with others in the entertainment industry, which could explain the misunderstanding.

Obinna also pointed out that this accusation was one of the most bizarre rumors he had heard about himself.

On the topic of fatherhood, Obinna has openly discussed his challenges with co-parenting. The comedian has four children from three different women and has spoken candidly about the difficulties he faces in managing these relationships.

In 2023, he admitted that co-parenting has been one of his toughest struggles, revealing that he once had to pay his ex-partners just to be able to see his children.
