Wife hunting has began for legendary gospel musician Daddy Owen; who has publicly declared the type of woman he’s looking forward to tie the knot with- and eventually sire kids with. The musician recently claimed he’s looking for a village girl (kienyeji), who is prayerful, and dark-skinned.

”I am looking for a serious woman to date and marry. I am looking for a dark-skinned woman, very prayerful. She should be from the village,” he said.

The musician went ahead to purport women are flocking his DM to try and convince him that they’re ‘the one’. But Daddy is taking his sweet time to choose meticulously. Of course some are in his DM to embezzle his wealth; considering his financial status.

Either way, Daddy Owen is genuinely looking for love after accepting to move on from his ex-wife Farida Wambui. The interesting thing is, Daddy Owen isn’t looking for a city slay-queen; unlike most celebrities. He’s now interested in village girls- with his own reasons.
