During their relationship, he frequently treated her to dinners at upscale restaurants and showed her a level of affection she hadn’t encountered before, making her hopeful about their future.

“The worst part is that I hadn’t experienced such love before. I was coming from a different situation, and he treated me well, so I fell deeply in love. I really wanted the relationship to last,” she explained.

Mylee went on to say that dating married men can feel rewarding, as they tend to be very attentive and generous, but she acknowledged that such relationships are often unsustainable.

“Married men are the best. He would do anything for me. I’d tell him I was having a bad day, and he’d bring me flowers or buy me lunch, but these relationships are never long-term,” she noted.

She admitted that there were red flags, but her feelings kept her from seeing them clearly. He often made excuses, claiming his house was being renovated or that he was traveling for work, which she later realized was to visit his child and partner abroad.

Mylee eventually discovered his marriage when he accidentally posted a photo of his family on WhatsApp without hiding her from the view, captioning it, “My family, my everything,” and also posted about his child with the message, “Don’t look for us; we’ll find you.”

“I told him never to contact me again and blocked him after that,” she shared.

Mylee emphasized that she would prefer a man to be honest about his marital status from the beginning, allowing her to decide whether to continue the relationship or remain friends instead of living a lie.
