Mimi sio shoga – Massage by Steve
Kenyan content creator and masseuse Steve has addressed rumors about his sexuality, firmly denying that he is gay. During an interview on Kameme FM, Steve clarified, “I am not gay. People make that assumption because of my earrings. I want to assure parents that wearing earrings or braiding hair as a man doesn’t define one’s sexuality.”
Steve emphasized that he doesn’t judge homosexuals, acknowledging that they are regular people with families, wives, and children. He added, “People often associate certain appearances with being gay, but in reality, gay individuals can be anyone around you, including those who dress in suits and are well-respected in society.”
In a previous interview, Steve admitted to losing his girlfriend to another woman. He shared that a woman with more “vibe” managed to persuade his girlfriend to leave him—a situation he never expected. Despite all the love and care he showed her, she still chose another woman.
Reflecting on his early days in Nairobi, Steve confessed that he was “simping” hard. He recalled buying a small plastic chair to sit outside his house and search for a network just to chat with his girlfriend, but his efforts were in vain. “I saw dust badly… I sit down and ask myself many questions,” he admitted.
Steve continues to attract a large following with his controversial and relatable content.
