Mayonde has dropped a dancehall tune dubbed ‘Turn Up’ and we’re really feeling it (Video)
Sultry Kenyan singer Diana Nduba, alias Mayonde, has dropped a new jam with Elvis Who and it’s one for the books.
Dubbed Turn Up, the song infuses dancehall and R&B resulting in a very catchy party tune, the kind that you just want to listen to over and over.
As expected, Mayonde or Mayoyo if you like, really came through in this jam with her beautiful voice.
My favorite part is when she goes 0ff in a ragga chant. I never thought we’d see this day but it is here folks.
Elvis Who also did a great job. Although some of his lyrics were in pidgin, I feel we should give him credit for bringing the dancehall vibe to the song.
You must be wondering wh0 Elvis Who is, well he is a Kenyan based Nigerian artiste who rose to fame after participating in Kiss TV’s reality show The Search.
