Marioo drops new single ‘Unanikosha’ (Video)

Tanzanian singer Omary Mwanga, known to his fans simply as Marioo, has released a new track and it’s getting a lot of love.

The song dubbed Unanikosha has been ruling the airwaves since it came out a few hours ago and to be honest, we’re also feeling it.

From my understanding, Unanikosha is a love ballad. In the track, Marioo gives several reasons why a certain lady is the best partner for him and why he does not want anyone else.

In as much as I’m not the biggest proponent of Bongo music, I must say that I really love this song. I have listened to it a couple of times since it came out and every time it’s like I am hearing it for the very first time.

Unanikosha is such a beautiful composition. To add to that, Marioo has an amazing voice and the way he sings you’d think there is more to it, like he might really be in love with this lady. Who knows?

I don’t know about you but as I was listening to this jam, I sort of felt like it was a live concert and I was the only one in the audience.

I totally love the beat and instrumentation on this track. Other than the fact that they make it so catchy, I’m sure you will agree with me that they also blend well with Marioo’s style, vibe and tempo.
