Youthful preacher Rev Lucy Natasha is known for her flashiness and candidness.

Regarding money, she believes it takes on the character of the person who holds it. “In the hands of a good person, it will be used for a good cause. Money is not evil; it is the love of money that is,” she says.

Natasha has never taken a salary from her ministry, viewing it as a collective effort in God’s work. Her income streams come from being an author of 12 books and venturing into various businesses over time.

She emphasizes the importance of multiple income streams. “If you look at the Garden of Eden, it has four rivers, so everyone should strive to have at least four income streams.”

Rev Natasha is grateful for social media, as it was through Instagram that she met her husband, Prophet Carmel. “My husband slid into my DM,” she shares. “I ghosted his messages for two years before finally responding. He is Indian and had not been to Kenya at that time. He used to hit on me with godly rhymes. But you know, persistence outweighs resistance.”

Why Reverend Lucy Natasha is still childless

Natasha fell for Carmel because he brings out the “baby girl” in her and allows her to be herself. “He taps into Tasha. He never called me Rev, Oracle, Pastor, or Prophetess.”

Two years into their marriage, they do not have children yet but are hopeful and prayerful about it. “We have the desire and the prayer; I think that would be one of the greatest blessings from God. We will wait on God.”

Natasha also advises men to avoid marrying gold diggers. “In this generation, many women aren’t looking for love but help. They don’t come for your heart but your hunt. Women should be gold carriers instead.” She explains, “A gold digger wants to know what car you drive; a gold carrier wants to know what drives you. A gold digger wants to know where you live; a gold carrier wants to know what lives in you.”
