Local celebrities should invest in medical covers – kenyans are too broke to contribute to medical bills

Nothing personal about our celebrities asking for medical support every now and then – we get it, the economy is not just bad, it’s horrible – everyone is complaining and as for debts....wacha niseme wakenya nikama tumeunganishwa na madeni because everyone is crying.

With that said, you can imagine the number of people surviving on hand to mouth alafu kidogo kidogo you come online and see a celebrity asking for medical help and youre thinking haiya ata huyu pia?

Wait, I am not saying celebrities can’t ask for help….because kenyans help where they can, but honestly asking for money even for ksh100 at a time like this is like an insult. I confirmed this while going through the many comments left under singer Petra’s post where she had applead for medical assistance and mmmh the responses weren’t so good.

Wamechoka!

Like i said, kenyans often help where need be and weve seen most come through for Omosh, Akuku Danger among other many celebrities but for some reason they now feel exhausted from all the contributions theyve been doing.

Maybe it’s because Petra asked for 100k and judging from how she carried herself on social media – most kenyans feel that amount shouldn’t be a problem especially for a celebrity.

On the comments you can see some asking her to sell her iphone or one of her expensive wigs or better….the verfied IG account to help cover her medical bill.

Not sure how I should end my article but theres this kavoice telling me kila siku sio Sunday and I don’t wanna say that because I am not mean, so wacha nisiseme.

Wishing the singer a quick recovery.
