Listen or Skip? Legendary Radio and TV personality Fareed Khimani is back on radio
While many believe once popular, funny and canny radio presenter Fareed Khimani is washed up, it seems a popular radio station and some fans still believe he has some juice left.
The legendary host who worked for Capital FM, XFM and Nation FM in the early 2000s is back in the frequency via a station that is also trying to make a comeback after several failed relaunches: Nation FM.
Taking to Instagram, the presenter alerted fans that he’s back to hosting the morning show on Nation.
“Alright. Now it’s really on 96.3 in the morning… tomorrow fro. 6am. This son of a gun is back,” Tweeted Fareed.
Shutting down
Nation is struggling to reenter the market two years after it shutting down alongside sister stations QTV, QFM and Rwanda’s KFM.
Here’s what fans had to say:

Ha ha. I feel you. Used to love the uninterrupted music, but seems the owners had other things in mind.
