Lady Jay Dee sheds tears as she pays tribute to her late ex-husband Gardner Habash.
Lady Jaydee’s ex-husband, Gardner G Habash, passed away at the age of 50 over the weekend while receiving treatment at the Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Institute (JKCI).
Clouds Media management confirmed his demise through a heartfelt condolence message. Jaydee and Habash, who were married in 2005 but divorced in 2016, appeared to have reconciled, as evidenced by a photo they shared together late last year.
The singer had previously accused her late ex-husband of infidelity and alcoholism. Habash had a child from another relationship with singer and entrepreneur Malkia Karen.

Family and friends gathered at Leaders Club in Dar Es Salaam on Monday, April 22, to pay their respects. Lady Jaydee addressed the mourners, expressing her gratitude for their presence and requesting prayers for Habash’s peaceful rest.
President Samia Suluhu led the tributes, recalling Habash as a sociable person. Harmonize also paid his respects.
Esma Platnumz and Sandra Dangote, Diamond Platnumz’s mother, offered prayers for Habash’s soul.

According to family sources, Habash had been hospitalized for several days due to heart and blood pressure complications. He was a former presenter at Clouds FM.
