KPLC Announces Power Interruptions in Four Counties Today
Kenya’s electricity distribution company, KPLC, has announced power outages in several areas across the country on Monday, July 8, due to maintenance work.
In a statement released on Sunday evening, KPLC indicated that some areas in Nairobi, Narok, Tharaka Nithi, and Embu counties will experience power interruptions between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM.
The specific areas affected include:
- Nairobi County: Parts of the Kitsuru neighborhood will face outages from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Narok County: Several areas in Oldonyorok will be without power from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Tharaka Nithi County: Some areas in Gituaka will experience outages from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Embu County: Parts of the Kathangari area will be affected from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
KPLC has urged residents in the affected areas to plan accordingly and apologized for any inconvenience caused by these necessary maintenance activities.
