King Charles III and Queen Camilla arrived in Kenya on Monday night for a state visit. The visit is at the invitation of President William Ruto and is aimed at deepening ties between the two countries.

The Royal Couple will visit Nairobi and Mombasa counties during their trip. They will meet with a variety of people, including government officials, business leaders, environmentalists, artists, entrepreneurs, veterans, and survivors of gender-based violence.

One of the highlights of the visit will be the Royal Couple’s visit to Uhuru Gardens Museum, where they will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior and visit the site where Kenya’s flag was first raised in 1963.
