Kenyans don’t deserve Fena Gitu, we really don’t
Fena Gitu is a creative genius. In my opinion, she’s one of the most versatile Kenyan artists (both male and female) if not the most. I’m sure you are nodding in agreement, aren’t you?

If analyze her music, you’ll realize that she puts so much work into her craft and the the result is always remarkable, whether it’s the audio or the video it’s just always on point.
While some refer to Fena as a rapper, I think she’s way more than that and we should not put her in her box. In some songs, she actually sings others have an element of dancehall, others have an Afro-funk vibe and whatnot.
Surprisingly, despite the fact that she puts in a lot of work, Kenyans don’t really celebrate her, we really don’t. I have no idea why this is the case but I feel we don’t deserve her at all.
I know she has fans. No one is disputing that. I, however, feel that not as many of us support him and it’s about time this changed. Don’t you think so?
In my opinion, Fena, who is also a great live performer, should have millions of views/listens on platforms like YouTube. To date, I don’t think even one of her songs has crossed the one million mark.
The underlying question is why are Kenyans not supporting Fena yet she is very talented? Clearly, we don’t appreciate our own!
