In a series of Instagram stories, Matubia shared how she found her 8-year-old daughter Zari’s diary and was surprised by some of the things she had written. She said that she was initially hesitant to read the diary, but she eventually gave in and was shocked by some of the secrets that Zari had shared.

Matubia said that she called Kennedy to discuss what she had found, and they both agreed that they needed to learn more about raising a pre-teen. They decided to “Google” it, but they still felt like they were lacking information.

Matubia ended the series of stories by asking other parents of pre-teen daughters for advice. She said that she and Kennedy were both feeling a bit lost, and they were looking for guidance on how to best raise Zari during this important stage in her life.

Matubia’s openness about her co-parenting relationship and her struggles as a parent is refreshing. She is not afraid to admit that she doesn’t have all the answers, and she is seeking out advice from other parents. This shows that she is committed to doing her best to raise Zari in a healthy and supportive environment.

I commend Matubia for her honesty and vulnerability. Her story is a reminder that parenting is a journey, and there is no one right way to do it. We all need to learn and grow as we go along, and it is important to reach out for help when we need it.

I hope that Matubia and Kennedy are able to find the resources they need to raise Zari successfully. I am confident that they will be able to do so, as they are clearly both dedicated parents who love their daughter very much.
