Kennedy Rapudo Calls Out Kenyan Men for Valuing Social Media Fame Over Family Honor
Amber Ray’s Husband Kennedy Rapudo Criticizes Men Who Prioritize Social Media Fame Over Family Honor
Businessman Kennedy Rapudo, husband to socialite Amber Ray, has strongly criticized Kenyan men who prioritize social media validation at the expense of their family’s dignity.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, January 30, 2025, Rapudo expressed concern over men who, in their pursuit of online fame, fail to uphold their responsibilities, calling it a sign of weakness and poor leadership.
“Men who chase social media recognition at the cost of their family’s honor display a clear lack of strength and leadership,” he stated.
The father of three, who previously shared his regrets about having children with different women, also decried the moral decay in society, noting that people are often quick to criticize the supposedly weaker gender instead of offering support.
He emphasized that true strength lies in a man’s ability to lead his family with integrity.
“In a world where it’s easier to blame the perceived weaker gender, it’s crucial to understand that real strength comes from a man’s ability to guide his family with honor,” Rapudo affirmed.
He further advised men to focus on stability, wisdom, and protecting their loved ones rather than seeking social media approval.
“A man’s role is to bring stability and wisdom to his marriage, ensuring the well-being of those he claims to love,” he concluded.
Co-Parenting Struggles
In a July 2024 interview, Rapudo opened up about the challenges of co-parenting with two baby mamas, admitting that he wishes he had been more discerning in his younger years to have all his children with one woman.

He acknowledged that balancing relationships with multiple co-parents is difficult but emphasized his efforts to maintain harmony and grant them unrestricted access to visit their children.
The businessman also revealed that he had to seek legal intervention to secure visitation rights for one of his children, stressing the vital role a father plays in a child’s life.
“There are things I would have done differently as a father, including having all my children with one woman. But life isn’t perfect—those stories exist only in movies. I know the pain of growing up without a father, and I won’t let my kids experience that,” he declared.
Rapudo shares a daughter, Savoune, with Nairobi socialite Veronicah, while his second baby mama remains private. He is now married to Amber Ray, who proudly refers to herself as “Bibi ya Tajiri.”
