Kathy Kiuna Shares Heartfelt Tribute, Expresses Deep Grief Over Late Husband Allan
Reverend Kathy Kiuna reflected on cherished memories with her late husband, Bishop Allan Kiuna, in a heartfelt tribute. She shared nostalgic footage of their time together, expressing gratitude for the 30 years they spent as a couple.
“My throwback is just amazing. Today, I’m simply thankful to God for giving me 30 years with the most incredible soul,” she wrote, humbled by the blessing of having him as her husband.

She went on to describe him as “loving, selfless, generous, kind, humble, peaceful, a leader, visionary, bold, hardworking, knowledgeable, wise, and full of fun. The list is endless.”
Kathy also admitted her deep sorrow, saying, “Even as I miss him terribly, I’m still grateful to God because He makes no mistakes.”
Bishop Allan Kiuna passed away on July 9, 2024, while undergoing treatment at Nairobi Hospital. He had been battling multiple myeloma, a type of cancer, since his diagnosis in 2018-2019.

During his final moments, Bishop Allan expressed his readiness to leave, moving many to tears, including Kathy, who shared that he spoke about wanting to “go home.” At first, she misunderstood, thinking he meant their physical home, but later realized he was referring to his eternal rest.

“He said angels were coming to take him,” Kathy recalled, adding that the family held on to hope until he stopped mentioning it.
Bishop Allan was laid to rest in Thindigua, Kiambu County.
