Karen Nyamu’s Outfit Photos That Led Her to Cover Up with a Leso
Karen Nyamu is no stranger to controversy, and she often embraces it rather than avoiding it. Unlike others who might try to repair their image, Nyamu tends to fuel the flames.
Recently, Karen Nyamu, also known as Karenzo, shared photos from an event she attended, where she faced public embarrassment while giving a speech on stage. In the photos, Nyamu wore a long black dress that appeared modest, but it reportedly featured a high slit that revealed her thighs, making some women in the audience uncomfortable.

One of the women in attendance took it upon herself to cover Nyamu with a leso, an action that seemed more like a public reprimand. This move irritated the senator, who later mocked her critics on social media, writing:
“A very short story. Those with master’s degrees in decency and PhDs in dressing, come, the floor is yours.”
Considering the design and length of the dress, it’s easy to see why Nyamu found the gesture unnecessary, especially in front of such a large audience.
For once, even her own followers seemed to sympathize with her, agreeing that her outfit was appropriate and that she had been unfairly targeted. However, given her public persona and her high-profile relationship with musician Samidoh, there are always critics ready to attack her for being “too bold.”
