Kanda King’s Ex, Kamson, Opens Up About the End of Their 20-Year Marriage

Grace Gathoni, better known as Lady Tasha or Kamson, is the mother of Kanda King’s children and was also an actress on *The Real Househelps of Kawangware*. Since childhood, she’s been passionate about singing, acting, and dancing.

In a recent interview with Ala C, she addressed rumors surrounding the end of her marriage to the popular dancer. Laughing off the rumors, she said, “He is the father of my children. Stop asking too many questions. I know where you’re going with this.” She added, “We’re still friends. He’s mentored me a lot in my career as a singer since I didn’t have that foundation. He is my friend and mentor, and we don’t have any beef.”

Despite confirming they are no longer together, Kamson clarified that their relationship remains amicable. However, in a previous TV interview two years ago, she had referred to them as being married. When Ala C pressed her on this, she simply stated, “Let’s leave it at that. The last time I cooked for him was last year.”

Kamson also addressed rumors that she had left Kanda King for another man, explaining that the headlines came out when she was preparing to release a song and that the man in the pictures was part of her music video. She stressed that she does not believe in using clout for attention.

When asked if she’s in a new relationship, she responded, “This syllabus is moving fast! I have many friends, but right now, I’m just focused on my music, which suffered due to my depression. I’ve healed about 90 percent.”

Finally, when asked directly if her 20-year marriage had ended, Kamson acknowledged the difficulty, saying, “For it to get to the point where you leave and even feel suicidal, it’s tough. I respect him because he’s still part of his children’s lives, but I had to leave because it just couldn’t work anymore.”
