Kamene’s Vague Reply to ‘Mean Girl’ Allegations
Kamene Goro has appeared to address accusations from three former colleagues who described her as a “two-faced mean girl,” claiming she pretends to support young women in the industry but then undermines them.
“First off, let me put on some lip balm, lest they say my lips are dry,” the radio host began in a video on her Instagram, seemingly taking a jab at the critics.

Kamene continued, “One thing I’ve learned over the years is that less is more. This goes for a lot of things but especially for your personal life and where you are in life. The less people know, the better—giving people less ammunition to use against you.” She added, “Not everything requires your response, okay?”
Using a boxing match analogy, Kamene advised, “There’s no boxing match if only one person is in the ring. Sometimes, it’s best to be the person who’s not in the ring to avoid unnecessary trouble.” She elaborated, “If someone speaks badly about you, you don’t have to engage. As they say, ‘Don’t argue with a fool; they’ll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.’”
Wrapping up, Kamene added, “Don’t let your struggles show in how you present yourself. Do I look like I have issues with someone? Never. Respect yourself enough to keep yourself above certain situations… a ‘baby girl’ who argues with a fool? Take that to the bank!”

Just days earlier, three of her former colleagues, who recently left the station where Kamene works, aired grievances on TikTok Live about working with her. One even accused her of sabotaging King Kalala’s career rather than mentoring her as instructed.
