Kamene Goro’s Special Mother’s Day Appearance and Love Story with DJ Bonez

Kamene Goro made a guest appearance on the DPL Festive Limited show on Mother’s Day, where she was hosted by food enthusiast Boina.

During the episode, the two prepared a meal for two, with Kamene demonstrating her impressive culinary skills. Whenever Boina struggled with the pan, Kamene effortlessly took over, proving her expertise in the kitchen.

As they cooked, Boina asked about Kamene’s love life, especially after she mentioned that she cooks for her husband daily.

How Kamene Met DJ Bonez

Kamene revealed that she first met DJ Bonez at 26, but their initial encounters were anything but romantic.

“We didn’t like each other at all. We barely spoke, even though we were in the same industry. He was based in Mombasa,” she recalled.

She explained that DJ Bonez had the impression she was arrogant, particularly because she often attended club appearances and spent time with Andrew Kibe and other celebrities.

Kamene also shared that she has a tradition of spending her December holidays in Mombasa with friends, usually for about a week to ten days.

During one of these trips, her group decided to book a yacht, and that’s when DJ Bonez came into the picture.

“He helped me get a yacht, and since we needed a DJ to set the vibe, he joined us,” she said.

That trip marked a turning point. Soon after, DJ Bonez started messaging her, and they officially began dating in January 2021.

A Private Yet Lavish Wedding

The couple later had an intimate yet extravagant private wedding, attended by just 23 guests.

When asked about their decision to keep it small, Kamene explained:

“We didn’t want assistance from anyone, and we preferred to keep our relationship private. It was such a special day that we didn’t feel the need to share it with everyone.”

Describing the wedding as “cute and classy,” she shared that it featured an open bar, a delicious lunch, and a night of celebration.

The secrecy surrounding their big day was so strict that guests only received details about the venue at the last minute.

“Nobody knew the location. We just told them to keep the date free. On the eve of the wedding, I sent a message with the venue and the time to be there,” Kamene revealed.

Although she initially intended to keep her marriage under wraps, her close friend Jalang’o let the news slip, revealing their nuptials to the public.

Despite their preference for privacy, Kamene and DJ Bonez remain one of the most talked-about couples in the entertainment industry.
