Kamene Goro Recovers After Knee Surgery In Karen Hospital
Media personality Kamene Goro is taking it easy at the Karen Hospital in Nairobi after successfully undergoing knee surgery. Just prior to the procedure, she gave fans a glimpse into her pre-op jitters via Instagram Stories.
Kamene explained that she was repairing a torn meniscus, the shock-absorbing cartilage pad in the knee. While she admitted feeling some anxiety about the anesthesia, she remained optimistic about a speedy recovery.
“I usually find the recovery harder than the surgery itself,” she shared with a laugh.
Shortly after the surgery, Kamene posted another update – this time, with her husband, DJ Bonez, by her side. Looking comfortable and upbeat, she thanked her followers for their well wishes and promised to keep them posted on her progress.
“I am a little bit anxious about the whole anaesthesia thing, I don’t know this time round coz every other time I haven’t been anxious about it but anyway so yes that is the surgery I am going in for I am hoping I will be able to walk as soon as possible coz I think for me he recovery is usually harder than the surgery,” Kamene said.
