Former radio host Kamene Goro has called out people who use poor grammar, saying that it is unacceptable, especially for people over the age of 30.

In a series of Instagram stories, Goro said that she was considering starting a class on basic spelling and grammar because she was tired of seeing people make mistakes.

“How are you over 30 and still can’t distinguish between ‘this’ and ‘these’, ‘there’ and ‘their’, or ‘him’ and ‘her’?” she asked.

Goro said that she understands that everyone makes mistakes, but she is more bothered by the lack of effort people put into improving their grammar.

“It’s not mistakes that irks me, it’s the poor grammar and the lack of initiative to make it better,” she said.

Goro also pointed out that we live in an era where access to information is free and easy, so there is no excuse for making basic grammar mistakes.

“You can always double-check your work, use a spell checker, or ask someone else to look over it,” she said.

Goro’s comments have sparked a debate on social media, with some people agreeing with her and others saying that she is being too harsh.

However, Goro has said that she is not backing down and that she is determined to help people improve their grammar.

“I’m not trying to be a grammar Nazi,” she said. “I just want people to be able to communicate effectively.”

Goro’s comments are a reminder that grammar is important, even in the digital age. When we communicate with others, whether it is through writing or speaking, our grammar can make a big difference in how our message is received.
