DJ Nico’s chilling Facebook post sparks debate online days after he perished along with six other artistes in a freak accident

Josphat Weldon Cheruiyot aka DJ Nico En Embassy was among six other artists who lost their lives in Timboroa accident. It turns out the mix master had a premonition about his death.

Seven Kalenjin artists perished in a grisly road accident along the Nakuru- Eldoret highway on Saturday night  December 9th.

The seven, five men and two women, died after a Toyota Probox they were traveling in collided head on with truck heading to Nakuru at around 7.30pm. The Probox was headed to Hill tea, Timboroa.

Kericho famous DJ Nico En Embassy is thought to have had a premonition about his death. The mix master post an eerie text on Facebook on December 3rd.

DJ Nico’s post on Facebook questions the loyalty of one’s girlfriend in the event of death. He concludes his post by saying ‘na nimeenda’ (i have gone).

“Sometimes you need to be alone in a peaceful and silent environment to think about your life and the people you call loved ones!! Will she be on your side when you are sick?!! Will she stand with you during difficulties?!!! Will she stands with you when you are Pronounced dead?!!! Will she have courage to sit beside your coffin during burial?!!

“Will she remain single after funeral, or she will just get one immediately after you are layed to rest during sent off ceremony?!!! Ask yourself more questions than that!!!! Tafakari AYO## Na nimeenda!!!” Wrote DJ Nico.

Meanwhile deputy president William Ruto has mourned the death of DJ Nico and six other artists who died. Ruto advises motorists to adhere to traffic rules and regulations in his eulogy.

“Heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of Weldon Cheruiyot of Kenene International and his troupe following a tragic road crash last evening. We also mourn with those who lost their loved ones in the accident at Moinonin. Motorists should exercise caution and adhere to traffic rules and regulations, especially during this festive season to avoid further loss of lives. May their souls Rest In Peace,” wrote William Ruto.
