Young, Famous and African reality series was a show that conglomerated Africa’s biggest stars, from different countries. The debate on who would have made the best fit from Kenya was imminent. Who would have made it more interesting? Rather, who would have caused perennial interesting drama?

Well, some of the drama queens that were suggested included Amber Ray, Huddah Monroe, Michelle Ntalami, Shakilla, just to mention a few. Without a doubt all of them would be a good fit in YFA.

Anyway, a new reality show is about to be produced- and netizens can’t keep calm after learning Kenya was given a greenlight in producing it. The show dubbed ‘Real Housewives of Nairobi’ is set to begin shooting in September this year.

The popular Real Housewives reality franchise continues to expand across the globe.
NBCUniversal Formats has partnered with African entertainment company Multichoice for several more African versions of The Real Housewives shows according to Variety.
New versions will include Nairobi (Kenya) and Pretoria (South Africa), with several others in the pipeline. Independent production company Provoco is filming the 14-part series in Pretoria.
