Jeff Koinange mourns the death of his centenarian granny whom he introduced on Mashujaa Day
The Koinanges have lost the eldest member of their family. Jeff Koinange announced the passing of his centenarian grandmother with great sadness.
The Citizen TV anchor introduced his grandma on Mashujaa Day. Jeff shared a video he took while he was with his granny laughing and having fun.
“Happy MASHUJAA Day from My HERO and I…. My Grand Mother, Elizabeth Gathoni Koinange…..5th wife of Senior Chief Koinange….age 117 years OLD!! Oh MY!! #MashujaaDay,” Jeff captioned the video he shared on social media.
She’ll be remembered as a loyal wife
Jeff eulogizes his grandmother in an emotional post on social media. He says his centenarian grandmother will be remembered as a loyal wife to the great senior chief Koinange.
“Folks, it is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing away of one of my GREATEST Shujaas.. Go well, Grandma. You will be fondly remembered as a LOYAL wife to the Great Senior Chief Koinange, a WONDERFUL Mother, a CARING Grandmother, an AMAZING Great Grandmother and LAUGHING Great Great Grandmother.
You OUTLIVED many and at 117, you were a true PATRIOT and a MATRIARCH to all.
