Jailbird Elizabeth Michael Lulu does something noble from her prison cell
Elizabeth Michael ‘Lulu’ was thrown in prison for the death of Steven Kanumba. The jailbird has continued to have a positive impact in society even from the confine of prison.
Lulu was on November 13th 2017 sentenced to two years in prison. Dar es Salaam High Court found the actress guilty of manslaughter.
The court heard that Steven Kanumba and Lulu were lovers. Lulu was found guilty after it was determined that she was the last person to leave Kanumba’s house on April 7th 2012 when he died.
Noble cause
Lulu sent her close friend and mentor Dr Cheni to continue with her charity work as she serves her term in prison. Cheni donated pads to high school students and he informed them that it was Lulu who had sent him.
