Once again using social media, former TV journalist Jacque Maribe has refuted rumors about her relationship with Dennis Itumbi and asked users not to assume they are romantically involved.
Maribe sent Itumbi an emotional birthday letter on the occasion of their friendship’s 20th anniversary, highlighting their unwavering friendship and dispelling rumors regarding their romantic status.

Itumbi remained at Maribe’s side during her trial for the murder of entrepreneur Monica Kimani, showing up to court and lending his support.
Itumbi openly chastised former DCI George Kinoti for linking Maribe to the case after Maribe was found not guilty, highlighting Maribe’s innocence.
In addition to Itumbi, Maribe has been linked to former journalist Sam Ogina of Citizen TV, who also denied dating Maribe.
