Kenyan gospel artist Emmy Kosgei is celebrating his brother’s (Meshack Kosgei) birthday today. The 40 year old celebrated artist narrates how his brother has been a shoulder for her to lean on, even in tough times.

Growing up in a religious family, Emily Kosgei took after his bishop father, who aligned them with all Christian values. She also got married to a Nigerian apostle, Anselm Madubuko.

She started singing at a tender age, and gospel music was all she ever dreamt of. On the other hand, not much is known about his brother Meshack.
