“It didn’t happen in Kakamega” Kirinyaga deputy governor explains in detail how he was caught naked
Kirinyaga deputy governor Peter Ndambiri has finally opened up about the viral video that has been trending for the past two days.
Mr Ndambiri spoke to the press on Wednesday when he decided to report the matter at Thika police station. The Kirinyaga DG denied claims that the incident happened in Kakamega.
He says that the incident occurred last weekend in Thika town. Ndambiri defends himself claiming that he was was accosted by fraudsters who forced him into a room with Elizabeth Njuguna – the woman in the video.
“It is a clique of gangsters who are targeting the rich and politicians with an aim of extorting money from them. I fell into their trap. I was set up by crooks who took me through a very agonizing moment and right now what matters to me most is about my family and the people of Kirinyaga who look unto me for guidance and leadership,” said Peter Ndambiri.
Mr Ndambiri says the gang forced them to strip naked as they recorded the incident to show that he had been busted sleeping with a married woman.
5 million
The Kirinyaga DG further claims that the extortionists demanded Kes 5 million not to publish the video clips and photos. He reportedly paid the gang Kes 1.3 million after which he was freed.
