“I lost my job, got an accident and contracted COVID-19,” Mwanaisha Chidzuga opens up
It becomes hard to open up when chances are the world will be quick to judge you. A battle majority of celebrities have had but the final decision always lies in your hands.
October 2019, Mwanaisha Chidzuga was shown the door at Mediamax-owned TV station, K24 in a mass firing of over 150 employees.
Few weeks later, she bounced back with an option B, her Swahili dishes restaurant, Aryanna Dishes. And mid this year, officially launched her new show dubbed ‘Dada2DadaUncensored’.
She looked like she had all her plans well laid out but what many do not know is that that particular period was one of her most difficult times.
Mwanaisha’s car crush and battle with COVID-19
Taking to her Instagram, as she turns 38 years of age, the celebrated Swahili news anchor, penned;
“My 37th year has been tough faced challenges I’ve been tested and found myself in situations I thought I would never be in.”
“I have Learnt so many lessons and survived so many challenges but I still choose to rise,” her letter continues.
Until she opens up about getting fired, then getting involved in a car accident before becoming a COVID-19 patient.
All happening in sequence, at a time when she needed peace and love most but life instead chose to feed her with lemons.
“Yes I am a survivor of so many things..road accident early this year, Covid 19 that affected my business and myself getting infected but survived too.”
Remember, at the time, she had been fired from K24, but her business suffered after she contracted the novel virus that also took a toll on her.
Tragic events she never opened up about until yesterday, as she turned 38. But amidst all the confusion, Mwanaisha had lessons to take home.
“Now I know that I had to go through all that so that I can stand tall today. So BYE Chapter 37. Cheers to Amazing Chapter 38????Inshallah. And yees I am aging gracefully and just right.”
“To myself I need to be more kind and take care of myself more,” she sweetly wraps up.
