How Shakib’s Close Friend Played a Role in His Conflict with Zari

Businessman Shakib Cham Lutaya has expressed deep regret over the harsh remarks he made about his partner, Zari Hassan, a few weeks ago. Shakib clarified that these comments did not reflect his true feelings and were made in a moment of anger after seeing Zari enjoying herself with her ex, Diamond Platnumz.

Lutaya revealed that a private conversation in which he vented about Zari was secretly recorded and leaked by a close friend. In a recent interview, Shakib explained, “I didn’t know I was being recorded. My friend called me right after Zari’s live video went viral, and I was still upset. I was deeply affected by what I saw.”

He continued, “I don’t have many friends who genuinely look out for me, and in that moment, I said a lot out of anger. It wasn’t meant to come out that way. I didn’t realize I was being recorded. Even though I was angry, there are things I would not have said.”

Shakib’s remorseful comments follow Zari’s recent apology to him, where she admitted that her outburst on social media stemmed from confusion. She clarified that her recent trip to Kampala was meant to reconcile with her husband and acknowledged that airing grievances online was a mistake. Zari admitted she let her emotions take over and used an “inappropriate platform” to express her feelings.
