Apparently detectives from the Cybercrime Unit are also on the hunt for the killer cop(s) only known as ‘Hessy’ who is thought to be a member of the Administration Police (AP).

The Star however beat the detectives in tracing Hessy, the daily talked to the mysterious cop who opened up about his work on Facebook.

Hessy, who spoke on condition of anonymity, revealed that he started posting criminals’ photos on Facebook after he was shot and injured in the leg while on police patrol.

Seated in his house while recovering from injury, Hessy decided to create the Facebook accounts as a way of engaging the public on crime.

He revealed that pressure from police chiefs over the rise in cases of crimes was the reason why cops opted to gunning down criminals.

Hessy said his colleagues from the Regular Police wing were initially opposed to the idea of posting photos of dead gangsters on Facebook but slowly came to terms with it.
