Here’s a list of counties scheduled for power outages today, Friday

Kenya Power has announced scheduled power interruptions across several areas in three counties on Friday. The affected counties are Kakamega, Homa Bay, and Murang’a, with outages planned at different times between 8 AM and 5 PM. These interruptions are necessary for maintenance work.

Here’s a breakdown of the affected areas:

Kakamega:

• Power will be out from 9 AM to 5 PM in Butere, Manyulia, Manyala Hospital, Masala, Maondo, and surrounding areas.

Homa Bay:

• The outage will occur between 9 AM and 4 PM in Kiabuya, Magunga, Kogelo, Lwanda Gwassi, Nyatambe, Kisaku, Nyenga, Tonga, NYS Lambwe, Sanjwero, Kigoto, and nearby areas.

Murang’a:

• Power will be interrupted from 9 AM to 5 PM in Maragua Town, Mugumoini, Ichagaki, Githuya, Gakoigo, Nginda, Kaharo, Irembu, Ihumbu, Gathera, and Gachocho.
