Hamisa Mobetto Open to Husband Taking a Second Wife

Hamisa Mobetto has expressed that she has no issue if her footballer husband decides to marry a second wife.

Last week, Mobetto’s lavish wedding to Tanzanian soccer star Stephane Aziz Ki captured widespread attention in the entertainment scene. Aziz Ki, who plays for Yanga SC, exchanged vows with Hamisa in a beautiful Nikah ceremony at Nnuur Mosque in Mbweni, Dar es Salaam. They later held a grand wedding celebration in Zanzibar.

Hamisa, a mother of two, previously had a secret relationship with Bongo Flava star Diamond Platnumz while he was publicly involved with Ugandan-South African socialite Zari Hassan. Their affair resulted in a son, and when Hamisa revealed her pregnancy, she faced intense criticism for allegedly breaking up Diamond and Zari. At the time, Diamond repeatedly denied fathering Hamisa’s child in an attempt to save his relationship with Zari.

Hamisa has openly stated that she once hoped Diamond would marry her, given their long-standing relationship that predated his involvement with other women, including Zari. She was willing to be one of his wives as long as he made it official through marriage.

While her relationship with Diamond didn’t work out, Hamisa has maintained the same perspective regarding her current marriage.

“As long as I am the first wife, if my husband ever feels the need to take another wife, I will be ready. I have no problem with it,” she shared in a recent interview.

In Islam, a man is allowed to have up to four wives, provided he treats them equally in financial support, living arrangements, and other obligations under his care.
