Governors ultimately return Koffi Olomide to Kenya after his dramatic deportation at JKIA

Koffi Olomide was forcefully deported at JKIA in 2016 just like Miguna Miguna. Ironically the Lingala maestro returns to Kenya to perform at a government function.

Koffi was arrested on 22nd July 2016 along Denis Pritt Road in Nairobi as he left Citizen TV studios from an interview. His arrest as a result of pubic outcry following a video showing him assaulting one of his female dancers.

The Congolese singer was held overnight at JKIA before he was deported aboard Kenya Airways flight KQ554 to Kinshasa at 11:30am.
