Governors ultimately return Koffi Olomide to Kenya after his dramatic deportation at JKIA
Koffi Olomide was forcefully deported at JKIA in 2016 just like Miguna Miguna. Ironically the Lingala maestro returns to Kenya to perform at a government function.
Koffi was arrested on 22nd July 2016 along Denis Pritt Road in Nairobi as he left Citizen TV studios from an interview. His arrest as a result of pubic outcry following a video showing him assaulting one of his female dancers.
The Congolese singer was held overnight at JKIA before he was deported aboard Kenya Airways flight KQ554 to Kinshasa at 11:30am.

Devolution Conference
Koffi Olomide will be performing at the Devolution Conference in Kakamega on 24th April. Kenya’s 47 governors will be attending the conference.
“My brothers and sisters in Kenya I’ll be in Kakamega for the Devolution Conference on the 24th of April at the Bukhungu Stadium. Be with me I miss you so much,” said Koffi Olomide in a Twitter video.
