Gloria Kyallo Confirms Split from Longtime Boyfriend. They Will Coparent Their Dog

Gloria Kyallo, sister of TV personality Betty Kyallo, has confirmed her breakup with longtime boyfriend Ken Warui. The couple, who met during their first semester at university, dated for over three years.

Kyallo addressed the relationship status during a Q&A session with fans. When asked about the breakup, she stated, “I answered this question before, it’s on my highlight even. Anyway, we do co-parent the dog, but since the dog belongs to him, I see him from time to time.”

The confirmation comes after Kyallo previously expressed her views on marriage. In a 2022 interview with Mpasho, she stated, “I am not getting married before 35, I am still young. I don’t want to think of being with someone right now. I am gonna be with Ken as long as I am happy; if happiness ends, I will leave.”

Kyallo’s dedication to her pets is well-documented. In 2023, she hired a nanny to care for her three dogs, Nala, Shaggi, and Lulu, citing her fear of leaving them unattended. 1 She explained, “I do so much to take care of my puppies… like at the moment they are at home with the nanny. Yes, I got them a nanny because they are my babies and they need someone to take care of them.” She also detailed her daily routine of walking, feeding, and caring for her dogs, emphasizing the significant expense she dedicates to their well-being. 1 “At least Ksh500 a day is okay for me to spoil them. I am working for them and my future family,” she stated.

Kyallo also shared the story of how she and Warui met. “I met him at university during the first semester. It must be cliche as he was also a fresher like me. He was a friend to my friend and we liked each other so I never saw it coming. Later on they stopped talking but I was still in touch with him,” she explained. “I was healing from a previous relationship and so I slid in and never looked back.”
