Former Kiss FM radio presenter Adelle Onyango reveals why she flaunts petite figure in bikinis
Adelle Onyango has come forth to reveal the main reason fans on her social media have not been able to see her in a bikini. Through her social media pages, the lady went on to blame this on the insecurities that have for a long time given her headache.
According to Adelle, she has hated her body for years and unlike most women she could not embrace her scars; and the fact that her body also reminded her of the time she was raped, Adelle just didn’t feel beautiful.

As seen on her post, the lady also blames her eczema that left her skin looking dry; but after evaluating what she has been through and how far she has come, then it’s only fair to treat her body right.
I am so PROUD of the INTENTIONAL work I’ve done to get to a point of loving my body. For many years I hated it. I don’t know I think at the time parts of it reminded me of getting raped…the scars. Then came eczema with it’s own scars as if to mock me. Getting into a swimsuit was just…a no-no! Which sucked because I’ve been a swimmer all my life and I loved it!
Love your body
Now that she has learnt the value of her body and why she should have taken care of it by falling in love with herself; Adelle went on to urge fans to respect and honour themselves.

In the long post, Adelle went on to say;
So I hid it – tights, long sleeves, double sleeves, don’t swim, the works! I hardly looked at it. Didn’t give it the healthy things it needed. For years….yikes! But right now ???? ???????????????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????????????????????? ???????? ???????????????? ????????????????. It’s carried me through battlefields and continues to do so to date. Here’s to intentional healing. It’s hard. It takes time. I’m not all the way there. But it really is the gateway to freedom! #IntentionalHealing #SexualTrauma #LovingYourBody #Therapy #Healing
