Fast-rising gospel songbird Samantha Ann releases new track titled ‘Nena’ (Video)

Fast-rising gospel songstress Samantha Ann recently released a new track and it is getting a lot of love from her fans.

The song dubbed Nena, which is the Swahili word for ‘speak’ is a prayer to God to speak during any form of crisis and noises in our lives.

Nena is inspired by the story of Elijah in the bible, in 1 Kings 19, when Jezebel wanted to Kill him and he didn’t know what to do. He felt so helpless and even wanted to die.

However, an angel fed him and instructed him to walk for forty days and nights to Mount Sinai and wait upon God to speak.

God spoke to Elijah the most unexpected way and directed him on the next move. In Today’s world, just like Elijah, we often find ourselves in very difficult circumstances and don’t know what to do, they even wish they could die.

It’s in these kinds of crisis that we just need God to speak, to direct us and to command a breakthrough! As you listen to Nena, may it be a prayer from deep within and that God will hear you and turn around your situation.

And when God speaks may you identify His voice and obey!

I’ve had Nena on repeat since I heard it for the very first time. Other than the fact that it carries a powerful message, I know you’ll agree with me that it’s such a beautiful composition after listening to it.

Samantha Ann’s vocal are really on point and you just want to keep listening to her. I don’t know if it’s just me but I kept getting this feeling like this song was speaking directly to me. I was assured that things will be okay.

Those who have listened to Nena left comments had good things to say about it and Samantha Ann. They include Mercy Masika, Hewane Gospel, Music Kenya, just to name a few.

The instrumentation on this jam is also awesome and blends perfectly with Samantha Ann’s vocals. I also loved the video. The styling, location, coloration and scene transitioning were all on point.

Watch Nena below and tell us what you think. Remember to subscribe to Samantha Anne’s YouTube channel for more amazing gospel videos.
