End of beef? Diamond sends warm message to Alikiba on his wedding

Diamond Platnumz and Alikiba are longtime rivals who don’t see eye to eye. But on Thursday Diamond sent a message to his nemesis signaling an end to their beef.

The genesis of Diamond/Alikiba’s beef is difficult to fathom but some people say the rivalry started when Diamond dethroned Kiba to become Tanzania’s most sought after musician.

For years the two musicians have thrown shades at each other without directly mentioning each other’s names. Well, there is finally light at the end of the tunnel the beef is ending.

Warm message

On Thursday Alikiba married his sweetheart Amina Khalef in a ceremony that was held in Mombasa. Diamond sent Alikiba congratulatory message and wished him well in his marriage.

The ‘African Beauty’ hit maker even referred Alikiba as ‘king’. He said that people should tell king Kiba that he wishes him a life of happiness.

“Wadau Nimeambiwa King Kiba kaoa leo…Mfikishieni Salam zangu, za Ndoa njema, na Maisha yenye Furaha, Amani na Baraka tele…???,” wrote Diamond.
