Education CS Flies Back in To Join Endarasha Response Team

A devastating fire incident at Hillside Endarasha Academy in Nyeri County has claimed the lives of 17 innocent learners.The tragic event occurred last night, leaving 14 other students injured.

The Ministry of Education confirmed the news in a press release, expressing deep sorrow for the loss of life. The school,with a total enrollment of 824 students, had 156 boys and 160 girls residing in the dormitory that was affected by the fire.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and working to provide medical assistance to the injured students. The Cabinet Secretary for Education, Julius Migos Ogamba, is on his way back from an official trip in China to join the local response team.

The Ministry of Education has extended its heartfelt condolences to the parents, families, and friends of the deceased students.
