Edgar Obare finally released (Details)

After spending three nights at Gigiri police station over Natalie Tewa and Governor Hassan Joho’s speculated entanglement, Edgar Obare is finally a free man!

The controversial vlogger saw the alleged duo make the headlines for a week running after his exposé on their supposed love flame that saw the flashy politician gift her an Audi A3 running into millions.

This never sat well with both parties as Natalie soon after took legal action against the tea master who got arrested on Thursday, July 30.

His lawyers’ efforts to have him released on bail proved futile, compelling him to spend the weekend locked up.

Fortunately, his arraignment at the Kiambu Law Courts today, saw him get freed on a KSh 100,00 cash bail.

Edgar pleaded not guilty after getting charged with unlawful disclosure of personal data, of vlogger Natalie Wanjiru Githinji, without her consent.

At the courts, the blogger was in the company of his lawyer Kepher Ojijo. His case is set for mentioning on August 21 and the hearing set for November 2.

Mr Obare has been directed by the court to refrain from talking about the case.
