Edday Nderitu weighs in on gossip Samidoh beat Karen Nyamu

Samidoh’s wife, Mrs. Edday Nderitu, has joined to the continuing online debate regarding the contentious claims that Karen Nyamu was the victim of domestic abuse, which she firmly denies.

Social media went viral over the weekend with a photo of newly nominated Senator Karen Nyamu with a damaged face, which led to suspicions that she had been beaten up by someone she knew.

““Kule kwingine ata baada ya kununua pombe ya 420 lakini malipo…Hakuna ila maombi,” 

Some online users even asserted that the senator had been physically assaulted by her partner Samidoh, an allegation the senator has already refuted.

And Edday responded saying,

“Hizo huwa kama prescription.”

A supporter recently made fun of Senator Nyamu for reportedly purchasing Samidoh a costly drink and receiving lousy service in return while replying to Edday’s Facebook post.

In the past, Karen had refuted the domestic violence accusations in response to widespread anxiety expressed on social media.

Senator Nyamu addressed online rumors that her black eye was the consequence of domestic abuse on Sunday night during a Facebook live broadcast.

She vehemently refuted the accusation live while pleading on Kenyans to treat the problem of domestic abuse seriously.
