Disturbing CCTV Footage Shows Woman Attacking Partner in Buruburu

A disturbing incident of domestic violence has been captured on CCTV in Buruburu, Nairobi. Footage circulating on social media shows a woman attacking a man, believed to be her partner, with a knife. The attack resulted in severe head injuries for the man.

The video, timestamped Saturday, November 9, 2024, shows the woman initially enjoying a drink and dancing in the living room of their home. The man is initially seen watching from the doorway, suggesting he may have been prevented from entering the room. A young woman, likely a domestic worker, is also present, holding a baby while a toddler plays nearby.

Later in the video, the domestic worker and children are no longer in the living room. The man is now inside, seated and drinking from a water bottle. The woman then appears from another room, armed with a knife, and immediately attacks him. The man uses a cushion to defend himself from the assault.
