Diamond sets new milestone in East Africa’s music as his favorite song garners 100 million views on YouTube
Diamond Platnumz is the first artist from the sub Saharan region to hit 100 million views; and if you thought only west African music is taking over then we you are in for a big surprise!
Barely a year after teaming up with Congolese singer Innoss’B for Yope remix; Diamond Platnumz is now celebrating his major milestone; as he become the first East African artists to hit 100 million views on Youtube.

Apart from the audio, Yope Remix successful video was directed by Director Kenny under Zoom Extra; making it one of his biggest projects from 2019!
So far Diamond Platnumz and his team continue to prove themselves through their music; and those looking up to him must be taking notes!
Back in June 2020, Diamond Platnumz was recognized as the first artist from Sub-Saharan Africa to hit over 1 Billion views; after his combining his 658 on his YouTube Channel which totaled up to a billion views!
So far Diamond Platnumz (DP) has managed to attract 3.8 million subscribers on his YouTube channel – but with Yope remix hitting 100 million only proves that he has more fans who are yet to subscribe on his page!
