Diamond Platnumz has teamed up with Teni on ‘Sound’ and it’s a big tune (Video)
Award-winning Tanzanian artist Nasibu Abdul Juma, better known as Diamond Platnumz, has released a new jam featuring Nigerian singer Teni and it’s getting a lot of love.
The song dubbed Sound is a follow up to Diamond’s previously released dance hit single titled Baba Lao which has garnered massive streams on various digital platforms including millions of views on YouTube.
I totally love this jam and I must be honest with you guys, I’ve never heard of Teni before and I am really ashamed about it because she really spiced up this jam with some dope Afro vibes. Maybe it’s because she has a unique voice. At first, I thought it’s a male voice. Shock on me.
As expected, Diamond also did a good job. I don’t know if it is just me but I could have sworn that I heard some pidgin in his lyrics. To add to that, his dance moves were too lit. Anyway, aren’t they always lit?
The beats and instrumentation were also dope. Lizer Classic nailed it. Believe you me, I was literally dancing on the seat as I was writing this review and that’s a first because I’m not a fan of Bongo music.
The video concept was also really good. However, this doesn’t really come as a surprise seeing as it was directed by the best videographers in the continent and that is Moe Musa and Director Kenny. Props to them.
