Diamond and Ali Kiba clash

Singer Diamond Platnumz and his old rival Alikiba are squabbling as they attempt to retake control of the Bongo Flava scene.

Following the release of new songs in July, the two celebrities have started firing salvos at one another.

Platnumz recently forewarned his fellow musicians that he will likely dominate YouTube trends through the year 2024.

Other performers joined the discourse as a result of the act, indirectly criticizing Chibu Dangote and declaring that they would compete with Alikiba for the same position.

Indirect criticism of other singers was leveled by Platnumz on Saturday after three of his songs reached the top three trends. And when referencing his collabo with Juma Jux, Diamond said,

“Nawakumbusha tu, hiyo inayotrend number moja hapo, ni Enjoy audio tu , haina interviews wala Maparty mfululu, ndio inafanywa leo. Chupa Liko kwa NJIA,

He was making fun of Marioo and Alikiba, who collaborated on the song Sumu and gave multiple interviews to promote it. And when King Kiba caught wind of this shade he responded saying,

“Maparty mafululu kama asemavyo bwana mdogo Kwevo, yanaendelea baadae pale Elements,”

That being insufficient, Diamond continued to boast about his successful use of his cleave plan to revive the vitality of Bongo flava.

If his fellow musicians mess up once again, he continued, he won’t “wake up” the industry again. He claimed that he will be obliged to give his media company his complete attention rather than his musical career.

“Atleast Game limechangamka sasa… na mashabiki walipo Wana #Enjoy … sasa

msiniangushe jamani, jitahidini kuitumia vyema nafasi mkizembea tena, kwakweli sitotoa Msaada Mwingine…Maana ntachoka sasa coz na mimi ni Mwanadamu ujue…ntaenda zangu kwenye Mambo ya Media… maana kule Wenzangu, Amsha amsha wanaziweza hadi raha,”

Both Diamond and Alikiba had release parties for their new songs on Saturday, taking use of the occasion to engage with their followers.
